Zan McKenna

Zan has spent most of her career in Food Systems, from farming to retail to service, and holds a Bachelors degree in Sustainability Studies from UMass Amherst. Becoming a parent changed her career pathway. Coming from a nontraditional educational background, she did lots of research to find an optimal educational option for her children. From this exploration of school methods, she found Montessori and enrolled both her children at Castle Island Bilingual Montessori.

 

Zan joined the administrative team as Community Engagement Coordinator, excited to put her skills as a network weaver and connection maker to work, and to help facilitate the beautiful community Castle Island fosters.
